  Projects for New Zealand and international clients designing interiors, styling and graphics for a range of vessels including:  Round-the-World Yachts, Maxis, Performance cruisers, Admiral’s Cup yachts, Americas Cup Class yachts.  Clients include Sir Peter Blake, Grant Dalton, Sir Michael Fay, Ian Gibbs, Allan Bond (Australia) and Michael Ilbruck (Germany).
Some of these projects were done in collaboration with Bruce Woods.
Senior Lecturer and Head of Design Elam School of Fine Arts, The University of Auckland, 1980-2005. Taught at undergraduate, Masters and Doctorate level.
VisCom at AUT University and boat/vehicle design at Massey University School of Design.

bullet Represented NZ at three Olympic Games - 1964 Tokyo (Finn Class reserve), 1972 Munich (Finn Class), 1984 Los Angeles (Yachting Coach).
bullet Won 9 National titles in Olympic yachting classes, from period 1966 to 1983. 5 in Finns 4 in Tornado.
bullet Represented NZ in 13 World Championships (Finn Class, Tornado Catamaran, Admirals Cup, 12 Metre America’s Cup Class).  Won 3 international regattas in small boat and keelboats.  1st Kiel Week (Germany) in Tornado 1979,  1st Pacific Finn Cup (Sydney) 1966,  co-helmsman/tactician on ‘Swuzzlebubble’, top boat 1981 Admiral’s Cup,  Cowes, England.

bullet Represented New Zealand in International C Class Catamaran Challenge Trophy, Sorrento, Australia.
bullet Member of International Jury (International Yacht Racing Union) for 2 world Championships, New Zealand and Australia.
  Currently running design consultancy practice in Canterbury.
